My Journey – From Illness to Full Health

ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, Long COVID.

I created this Healing Program because I know firsthand what it means to live with a chronic, unexplained, yet very real illness—and because I also know that recovery is possible. For over six years, I suffered from ME/CFS—a condition with no clear cause and no recognized cure. I felt trapped in a relentless cycle of exhaustion, frustration, and uncertainty, searching for answers that never seemed to come.

Through my own journey, I discovered that true healing wasn’t about finding a quick fix but about systematically addressing the underlying stress and imbalance in my nervous system. By applying this structured approach, I was able to fully recover.

This realization led me to develop the Healing Program—designed specifically to support those of us navigating long-term illness, including ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, Long COVID, and related post-viral syndromes. The program provides the tools and understanding needed to move toward recovery.

A New Perspective on Healing

Everything changed when I discovered Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). It wasn’t an overnight cure, but through mindfulness, I began to understand something crucial: even though my body wasn’t functioning the way it should, I could start seeing it as an ally rather than an adversary. Instead of constantly focusing on what caused my illness, I began asking a different question:

What is keeping me from healing?

Through mindfulness, I learned that mind, body, and emotions are deeply interconnected—not separate pieces, but one unified system. I also realized that my constant fight against symptoms, my frustration, and my resistance were unknowingly keeping my nervous system in a chronic stress state, blocking my body’s natural ability to heal.

Instead of battling against my condition, I began practicing acceptance, patience, and self-compassion. Not by giving up, but by shifting how I responded to my body’s signals. Slowly, I noticed profound changes—less tension, fewer crashes, and eventually, a full recovery.

Why I Created This Healing Program

I know how overwhelming it feels to be trapped in chronic illness, unsure of where to turn. That’s why I designed this program—to share the essential tools that helped me shift out of chronic stress and return to health.

This Healing Program is specifically adapted for those of us dealing with long-term illnesses such as ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, Long COVID, and post-viral fatigue syndromes. While mindfulness is a powerful tool for anyone, this program is tailored to address the unique challenges of chronic illness—helping to calm the nervous system, reduce symptom-related stress, and create the conditions for healing.

Mindfulness is not about forcing ourselves to “think positive” or pretending symptoms don’t exist. Instead, it’s about learning how to reduce stress, regulate the autonomic nervous system, and support our body’s natural healing abilities. When we stop fighting every symptom and start working with our body instead of against it, we can finally move towards balance, well-being, and recovery.
